Our principle trainer realises, having delivered sessions to over 3000 delegates in the past two years, that sometimes it is hard to make the time for training. We therefore are able to deliver in your workplace a training session during your lunch break or another scheduled regular time. Our trainers do not mind people coming in late or having to answer important phone calls during the session or nipping off early if it's urgent as we understand work pressures. We will provide a relaxed, fun but informative session in an hour, on one of the following areas:

This sessions examines how to identify people who are drinking at risky levels and gives the delegate the skills needed to give Brief Advice. The session is based on the Department of Health's Train the trainer work book which was co written by our lead trainer Mark. This session can be tailored to individual needs for example it can be made into a lunch time brief session if required. |
Title: Drug and Alcohol Awareness Length: Half day or full day Price guide*: |
A detailed awareness session covering drugs and alcohol. It is ideal for employers who deal with drug and alcohol issues in their services e.g housing associations. |

A more indepth analysis of alcohol problems including the physical effects of alcohol, models of addiction and we can use outside Lecturers and ex service users. |

A more indepth analysis of alcohol problems including the phsyical effects of drugs, models of addiction and we can use outside Lecturers and ex service users. |
Title: Young Peoples Alcohol Awareness Length: Full day Price guide*: |
Based on the work done with the Broxtowe Youth Council (which inspired their award nominated Consequences DVD) this session uses a mixture of group work and real life stories from ex service users. From a fun quiz to hard hitting session on the physical complications of alcohol misuse. |

For all of the training we do we use a variety of training methods most suitable to the size of the group and their specific requirements. The training involves group work, hand held remote devices, interactive discussions as well as anatomical models.
All our courses are consistent with the Department of Health recommendations.
All sessions have been ratified by a panel of ex service users.
