Report Writing Service

Arc Ltd provides specialised written reports for Courts, Tribunals, Social Services and Employers. These can be conducted within 7 days of instruction at our office or more conveniently at you preferred location such as a solicitor’s office.

Arc Ltd only employs substance misuse professionals qualified to degree level and at least 5 years experience within the substance misuse field.

 

Why instruct a report?

“Alcohol is associated with a wide range of criminal offences in addition to offences of drink driving and drunkenness; in which drinking or excessive drinking define the offence.. In England and Wales, approximately 70% of crime audits identified alcohol as an issue, particularly in relation to public disorder”. Home Office.

Alcohol is a psychoactive depressant drug which can lead to “disinhibiton”: Alcohol may literally give people the “courage” to do things they might not otherwise and hence commit a criminal offence.

Through support and education it may be possible to prevent further offending and give these clients an opportunity to make a new life without crime and alcohol.

We offer a service for pre-sentencing of an individual is charged with a crime such as antisocial behaviour or drink driving .

Whether Clients are referred through, Solicitors, Probation, Prison or self ARC Ltd can offer them an assessment in 7 days to assess their needs and their personal situation. The Arc Ltd Report Writing Service provides an unbiased documentation of the client’s history and their current situation. It concentrates on all the contributing factors providing a whole picture of the person, putting the role of alcohol in context with regards to their offence, lifestyle and motivation to seek alcohol treatment.

 

Commissioning a report

ARC Ltd. can supply reports regarding clients' alcohol or drug problems for use in court proceedings within three working days of the conclusion of our interview(s).

Fees are charged at a rate of £75.00 per hour.
